which pistons should I go with?
I'm putting together a gsr block with an ls crank, eagle rods, b16 head with omni spring and high comp. valves. I've been looking at wiseco's pistons but I'm not sure if I should get the 5+ domes or the 8.25+ domes. According to c-speed's site the 5's will be around 11:1 and the 8.25's are around 11.8:1, without the high comp valves. How accurate are these numbers? I plan on running pump gas(91) for the most part and probably gonna throw a shot of n20 maybe a 100 not sure. opinions greatly appreciated

you will make pretty close to the same power with 5cc domes on pump.. </TD></TR></TABLE>
X2 agreed.
See the build in my link. One of the best I've seen on this board. Increasing static compression alone will not really improve power much. Turning up timing, thereby increasing cylinder pressure dranatically increases power. 5cc domes are definitely a bit more knock resistant on pump gas relative to the 8.35 cc domes especially when you turn the timing up.

Thanks for the info guys I was leaning more towards the 5cc domes aswell. those are some very impressive numbers b19coupe put down. I also planned on having tom do my head as was the last one for my turbo build. he does awsome work!
