Lately on the side of the car running rich, i was wondering about a thicker oil to compenstate for some of my blue smoke..? Although i check my oil everytime i start the car, and pretty much its hardly ever low, even when i beat on it for along time(street tuning my car this weekend took around 2~3 hours? was hardly hardly low) If i had to guess between every oil change probably 1/3 to a 1/2 a quart of oil, if that.
But yesterday as i was buying some oil i noticed my mobilo 1 i use, makes a 20w-30
I usually use 10w-30 fully syn, but just was wondering some intakes on this idea,
the motor does see revs of anywhere from 8500~9500rpms, the compression is roughly around 11.8~12.0 and its daily driven yes, and i do beat on it. Stock block type-r any thoughts?

im running mobil 1 10w30 synthetic.. i havent found anything thicker then that in the synthetic line up.. and mine burns maybe 2 quarts every 3k.. its a 97 itr motor i dont rev past 8600
