Default Did I realistically affect structural integrity?

Ok, so I went to install my H brace that I've been sitting on for a year now (not literally sitting on it..) and the driver-side bolt the goes through the front LCA bushing and into the front subframe was giving me trouble. Long story short after coming out halfway, the suddenly got tough and the weld on the nut INSIDE the subframe broke and the bolt/nut would just spin. So I aborted the installation and had to cut a rectangular opening big enough to barely fit an open-ended wrench in to hold the nut in place while I tighten the bolt back up. I'm just curious if --> THIS HOLE I MADE <-- could have realistically affected the structural integrity of my vehicle. I only really ask because I do autocross and things of that nature. I know it would be fine for normal driving, and I'm 90% sure it's fine for everything else too. Just want some more opinions. LMK what you think.

I wouldnt think that a small hole would greatly affect the structural integrity and if it did it wouldnt be that much.
