What is a good selling price for a used (stock) d16a6 with around 175k miles on it.It runs strong but uses oil pretty heavy. The reason i ask is that I hear these motors are getting hard to find these days.

 

Go to local junky they have them out in the yard.

 

I have one now I got someone who wants to buy it.

 

Is $300 a good price for just the motor?

 

I got my A6 with 113,000 miles,ECU and Si tranny for $300.But I got it from a friend of mine when he swapped to a B16 so I think he gave me a deal.I think that $250-$300 sounds pretty fair.

 

around my area one with no oil burning problems at all and with less mileage they go for 250-300. ones for 300 have about 100K on them and are pretty darn clean. It is actually hard to find them now because all these guys are makin dirt track cars with old hatches and are scooping them all up.
