Default 94 Accord

recently bought a 94 accord ex from a friend. the cigarette lighter is loose and moves around, and nothing works when i plug into it. anyone know how to fix it or get in there?

To get in there, you will have to move the center console back. There are two screws in the bottom of the console underneath an access cover, and two underneath the cupholder (just pull it up and you'll see it). Once you've moved it back (or removed it, your call) you will see two screws holding the black trim piece that the lighter is connected to, remove those. Also, there is a screw behind the ashtray, and once you have removed that, you should be able to pull out the black piece. Oh and depending on whether you have an auto or manual you will have to do something with the shifter to get it out of the way, you should be able to figure that out.

Now that you have access to the backside of the lighter, just make sure that the wiring harness is connected and do some trouble shooting from there.
