as the title says. i saw 2 in the scrapyard one is type sh and other is se. is it possible to put that master cylinder to my 96 civic hatchback? i have integra front and rear brakes. let me know!

It looks like it will fit. Same shape, bolt pattern, and brake line locations.

What number does it say on the side of the Prelude MC? Is it a 1"?

 

yup. its 1" master cylinder. would the prelude brake booster fit as well or could i reuse my old one? and does it matter if it came out of a ABS or non-abs car?

when i removed the MC from the lude it had a shaft that goes inside the BB, but on my civic the MC is different, it doesn't have that shaft. just like the one pictured ^^^.

interesting...if that doesnt fit, you can use 98+ ITR it will fit for sure

 

If you want a 1" mc, i know for a fact the 1988 civic wagon had a 1" mc and you can buy refurbished ones at autozone. It will fit.

Perhaps you need to take the booster as well.
