so i have a 97 GTI VR6 that's been giving me problems with the factory immobilizer and i think i've just had enough of VW's for a while. so a friend has an EK DX with a B16A2 in it he said hew oudl trade and give me some money as well... i really don't like it doesn't have a tach and this is not a situation i've been in before since all of my Hondas were tegs... is the wiring for a tach already there in a DX and the signal is just not used or is there no wiring for the tach and i would need to get the harness and cut and splice or can i tap into the DX harness cause it might have an empty spot for tach wire... i dunno... help greatly appreciated cause if i don't figure this out by tomorrow i might just take the Corrado VR6 his has... thanks

mine was plug and play, no wiring. i was so happy!
