Just getting my license back, its been a little over 1 year. The car has only been driven like once a month. For the last 5 months I put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank, unplugged the battery so it wouldn't drain from the alarm. I will be driving my car from Temecula to San Diego (55 miles). Before I do this what is the best and safest way for me to get my car back up on the go to become a daily driver.

My plan was to just shift under 3k for 2 weeks. Oil change. Check tire pressure. Thats about it.

first get in and start it then pull out of drive way then go where you need to go.

I would do what you said. Stay out of vtec until you change the oil/fill the tank, let it warm up, etc. You can baby it for 300 miles or so.

you don't need to baby it. any major thing would be to change the oil
