Default ATTN: EP3 Owners. How do you like it?

I've been looking at some ep3 civic's lately, and i'm strongly considering trading in my em2...i just wanted to know how you guys like your cars? What things do you dislike? I know they're underpowered...getting the short end of the stick with the k20a3. But trust me, they're faster than my current d17.

I was also wondering if there were any common problems with them...anything i should be on the look out for when checking out the ones in my area. any advice would be appreciated.

Also, as far as performance goes, I was thinking just doing the basics, i/h/e with an a2 head. just looking for a DD with a little pep...what do you think? thanks for reading.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love every minute of driving my ep. I love the seats, the shifter, the whole interior actually. It flows so well. I like how stiff mine is set up and how well it handles. I dislike the steering rack creak I have but it's not hurting anything.

Everyone expects SO much out of EP3s because they have the holier than thou k20. Then they drive/race one and see it isn't much faster than a 99/00 Si so they call it underpowered. Just because the newest Si/RSX-S is pushing out 200 hp doesn't mean the EP3 is underpowered; it's still quick and you don't have to rev too high to get moving in stop and go traffic.

I love how rare they are and how people don't know what car it is and they act like they like it until they hear it's a Honda. One time I came out of a movie store and seen a big domestic truck guy go to the back of my car to see what it is. I caught him and he immediately walked to the front of my car and got in his truck. My girlfriend and I shared a great laugh.

I don't like them stock though. This is the only time I will agree that they look like a minivan. I'm not too much of a fan of the headlight shape but oh well. I don't like the cost of parts and how tuning is so expensive.

Overall I'm extremely satisfied. Sorry for ending with negatives.

I don't own an EP3 but if you plan on modifying it, be ready to spend a pretty penny.
