BTW, Triple A and Esurance will generally give the lowest quotes.

wasup with the insurance questions. Its different in every state and city. to the zip code. I paid 1600 a year for basic coverage. All it covers is the other person you hit in a accident. That was in Lawrence MA, 01841 with a 92 nissan sentra.

Now with the EP3 I pay 911 a year, basic coverage, in 02747, thats in Dartmouth Ma

I pay 260. it usually goes down if your over 21 and then again if your married and such. Also if your in school depending on if your covered by parents. There are alot of variables that come along with it. I have all state but i hate them but its workin for now. so just call around for quotes and info.

sorry to bring this dead thread to life but just wanted to share this with you guys. Currently I have 1 speeding ticket and 1 at fault accident w/ injuries (other person, which i think they falsely claimed for money but that's beside the point).

I recently turned 24 (in august) own an 02 typeS, live in Illinois and i used to pay 1700 for 6 months with progressive then after that accident it was about to spike to 2200 for 6 months (that's damn ridiculious). Well i didn't want to pay that and wanted to find a cheaper agent. I did comparisons with all types of insurance agencies and they were roughly all the same except one, Esurance. I got a quote from them and let me tell you HOLY **** dramatic difference. With the speeding ticket and at fault accident they quoted me 1137 for 6 months so 199 a month for installments. That alone is a huge difference then progressives 2200 spike (more money to pay bills or buy parts w00t). So all in all just wanted to let you guys know to check out esurance, it may be a better and cheaper route. I haven't heard anything bad about them i just see those constant commercials. So far i've been impressed with them, excellent customer service and cheaper price. Everything is done electronicaly, no paper in the mail nothing. They send you it in email (which is better then mail IMO) and you can go to the site and print your card whenever you need to without waiting for the company to send an "official" document and what not. Just a little FYI if you guys are trying to find the lowest priced insurance company.

But say If i was to live in the city I know the insurance would be crazy juS' like my car notice . Moreover; In the past yr I've gotten 2 speedin' tickets, one eatin a stop sign ticket N it's still the same price I swear to you... From what I've heard you have to report it...

**** sounds like me before i switched to Esurance.
I couldn't stand paying that much anymore, it got annoying and was sucking me dry. Get a quote from esurance at least check it out. A lot of people wont change insurance cuz they find it "inconvenient" and insurance companies know this that is why they jack up the prices.

EXACTLY...
or you could do my method!

i go into my American Family agent (been with them for over 12 years now!) at least once a year- and just talk to them.
i usually ask about a small nick in the glass, or door dings, or something small and pointless,
BUT they see our cars, and they KNOW i take care of them!!!!!! Plus i update them on anything Extra that we have PUT into them (if anything)

...then i ask to see if i am paying the smallest amount possible, they take a few minutes and run my numbers...
i tell them i only have 1 ticket in the past 10 years!
they tell me if there is anyway to get it lowered... (higher deductible/versus Rates)

-------- here's how low it's gone over the past 12 years! ---------

GF is 34, I'm 37, and live in the city (usually higher rates)
we have Home-owners Coverage,
Full Coverage on the 2002 EP3 + 2005 ES1 Civics,
and $500 deductibles across the board.

i pay less than $100 a month for ALL OF IT!

Beat THAT e-Surance!

(CIVICS Are WAY CHEAPER to INSURE than any rsx!)

Moral- Get an EP3, SHOW it and TALK to your Agent, ...and Save money!

i pay about $130 a month for full coverage. But that's because i'm married and have 3 cars on our insurance. So that's always nice.
