which would you guys prefer and which do you think will win in a race? they have the same engine/hp, and almost weigh the same.

i'd have to say Civic TR , its rare, and a demon on a race track...i'd think the RSX would win in a drag race, i dont know much on performance specs of the CTR, just that it has 185 hp from a 1.6 liter B16B

oh, if hes talking about the NEW CTR..i'd so go with that...it has the same engine the RSx-S has, but in a more agile ..smaller body...

 

He said they have the same hp? I think he's talking about the new Civic Si. I definitely prefer the RSX. The Si looks like a mini-minivan

 

umm..the new CTR has the same hp as the RSX-s 200 hp

 

The Si does look like a mini mini van. Its to high when you first get it. Lower it alot and trasplant the RSX-S motor into it and BAM!!! Intstant CTR, just add water...lol. Well you'd also need the lsd, and lighten that Si some bit and you would have a car that some would look like the CTR somewhat. Well good luck. Oh and on the whole RSX-S vs. CTR if its the older CTR then th RSX-S would get it, it would be a good match but in the end the rsx-s would get it. If its the new CTR, Oh man, no contest the CTR. CTR has the same motor as the RSX-S but 2 major things we dont have.
1. LSD!!!!! Big difference in a race.
2. Lighter
By those 2 things it would win, plus the body is more ridged.

Only the JDM car has a limited-slip diff. The Euro version does not for some reason... The JDM version produces 217 SAE bhp while the Euro version makes ~ 200 bhp.

I don't think even a Type-S would compare to a Type-R in any way.
Try comparing a GSR to Type-R, totally different leagues.
