Which VTEC Oil Pressure Switches are cross compatible with B-series?

Will the switches from F, D, H series engines work? Also...are they OBD-generation-specific?

Also....are the plugs to the actual solenoid universal? The one from my solenoid broke off.

 

I need to know this also since mine broke the other day.

PS OG poster might want to get this moved to the tech forums becuase they will probably be able to answer the question better.

 

Any b series will work.

 

Some are 1 wire and others are 2 (not sure about the year or US vs JDM), but that difference does exist. The sensor itself crosses bewteen the b/d/h series and I would assume the f series is the same (speaking of the older ones ofcourse).

 

Yes, most are the same including even the newest V6's all the same as b/d/h/f/k
