Default Early to mid 90's Legend

I am looking to buy a second car to use as an everyday car, so I wanted it to be reliable...what better car to buy then a Legend?

So I am looking in to a few but don't know much about them. Anything in particular I need to look out for? Wish I can find a 6SP, but the wife can't drive that anyway..oh well.

Thanks guys.

Legends are high maintenance and expensive to own at times, if you want cheap and reliable you're better off with an Accord of the same era to be honest.

2nd gen Legends are known for cooling system problems and blown head gaskets more than anything as far as things to look out for. Also various oil leaks.

Ilove the car, but damn blown head gaskets. I'm replacing them as we speak. I'm actually having my friend's shop do it, because he's only charging me $600. It calls for 18 hours in All Data to do the head gaskets. I also looked up replacing the motor and it was 14 hours. LOL. I thought about doing it, but when I saw that it called for 18 hours, I was like, "expletive this." To have one of my techs do it, it would cost me $1400. They're nice cars, especially mine. I got it in awesome shape and had been maintained at my shop for the past three years. And like Stick said, with the fuel mileage, I'm getting around 20mpg. The VSS, we replaced at my shop last year, and the mount we also replaced last year. They're not cheap to own, even if you can work on them yourself. I have personally rebuilt 10+ Honda/Acura engines in my apartment, done a couple of engine swaps, and basically every type of repair on every Honda/Acura but this thing is in it's own league, so I opted to have my friend do the headgasket repair.
