How are the Tein S.Tech Springs?
well, im thinking about dropping my 00 LS in a cheap way until i save money to buy some coilovers, so i found the Tein S.Tech Springs for the 94-01 Integra LS, and was wondering how they are. Also it said "2.5 front 1.8 rear" drop, would that look weird? would i still be able to get a 1-2 finger gap in between? thanks for the help
works for me i guess. no problems or complaints here. s tech springs on oem struts. but im sure if you wanted to go "cheap" you could probably find a set of H&R race or neuspeed springs used for pretty cheap. 100 or less IMO.
my issue with tein's lowering springs is that they dont raise the spring rate enough to account for the reduced travel, so you end up spending more time on the bumpstops. sudden bumpstop contact makes for a rapid increase in spring rate on the particular corner creating erratic handling.
thee are better options out there for similar money- H&R sports for example

seems like tein S techs are just a cheap spring that just lowers the car with not much spring rate increase.
youre probably better off going with pro kits. i cant say anything bad about eibach's quality and engineering. they seem to make their customers happy. i know i am.

Why not just have some patience, wait a bit longer, and instead of spending money on garbage, just save it to put towards the coilovers you intend to eventually buy anyway?
Why spend double the time and money to do something twice? Just do it right the first time. You aren't going to develop cancer or be laughed at if you have to ride around at stock ride height for a while.
