well im kinda getting last minute jitters on installing my turbo kit in the next 2 weeks,im also sick of the recent crowd thats involded in the scene lately.

I hear ya about the turbo Jitters and the scene...

but do stay away from the gti 1.8 turbo, 3 guys in my crew own and race these, nothing but JUNK...yea the engine is nice makes alot of power with stock internals...the car is trash tho.

Im talking rattles everywhere, My friends is a 2000 with 60k somthing miles on it, and has had so many problems with it, suspension is on crack to, has a solid rear end pretty much...

They are nice cars, nice loooking, great interior and has butt warmer but Just a heads up, those cars are not very good in the quality department...

Go over to vwvortex (if you havnt already) and read about all the damn problems they have...

Im speaking from experiance, not out of my *** so I dont want anyone to think im just bashing VW, I have dealt with atleast 5 of them.

So just a heads up for ya

 

thanks for the advice, im going to test one out 1st, i was also thinking of going w/ the wrx but that might be out of my price range.

i want to stay in the $20k range....

 

Not sure if u wanna consider used wrx's, but ive seen a couple go for around 20,000, which u said is in your range. Can't beat mid 13's with just a vishnu stage 0 kit.

 

thats an idea, really everything comes down to if the banks dont laugh in my face, im going to apply 1st then go from there....
