Im looking to buy a set of Grey cloth 99-00 SI EMI seats, ive looked online and they look nice, but im only worried about them being so wide that I wouldnt have **** for a middle console with them? anyone modded to fit these guys into a EF? seen it done? I can deal with rails, just not that...

 

they wont be much wider than your stock seats. you will be fine for clearance, rails are the big issue...

how big of a issue? ive jerry rigged rails before.

 

i saw them in a 90-91 4 door once and they looked a little out of place...they just look too big for the car, asthetics aside, they will fit fine, and you may be able to swap in some EF seat pans so the rails will bolt up ( not totally sure about this)

 

depending on the year and wether its a CRX or Civic it could be pretty easy. I had a 90 Si hatch with 99 Si seats and 3 of the 4 holes actually lined up. with a little washer shimming action those three were fine, the fourth hole I bored out and welded a thick washer to the slider. only problem was how friggin tall the seat sat in there. Im only 5'10" and I couldn't wear a hat in the car anymore. felt funny driving it too...
