which motor is faster. gsr or b20. looking to get a new block

 

if u get the whole engine gsr cause its vtec but if u just get a block get the b20 than slap gsr head on and u got a sick setup

no jugment but b20 are just naturally less ummm...driven.

 

gsrs faster, b20 has a fancy torque curve?

 

i would go with GSR but b20 has alot of tq....

lol...gsr is a great NA motor...it all depends on what you are trying to do...

yes! and with a turbo, best of both worlds

 

I GOT A B20B WITH BOLT-ONS AND IT HAS A LOT OF TORQUE ....BUT IT DOESNT COMPARE TO A GSR RIPING VTAK AT HIGHER RPMS...IN OTHER WORDS LAST TIME I RAN A GSR I ONLY PULLED SLIGHTY AT THE BEGINING OF 2ND AND 3RD...BUT WHEN SECOND CAME THE GSR WAS PULLING ON ME LIKE I WAS STANDING STILL.....TRUE STORY!LOL.. IN THE END I STILL LOVE MY B20B BUT I CANT WAIT TO FEEL VTAK........

 

gsr without a doubt

 

if ur on a budget B20 but if you want perfomance GSR way stronger

Alot of torque? It has 5ftlb's more than a GSR and LS. Im sorry to burst your bubble but 130ftlbs is not alot of torque, even compared to other honda motors like the k20 or h22 that have 160+.

 

I would say the GSR is faster. It has the letter "R" in it.
