Default Ebay rear lip FTL!

Well I was foolish to buy a cheap ebay type R rear lip and well u get what u pay for. But I figured, this looks like ****, it cant get any worse and decided to chop it up. I've made them into rear valances. Let me know what you guys think, right now im really liking it.

Ebay lip FTMFL!

Fitment was crap:

Cant get worse:

End Result:

Oh, and an update on the rims, im sitting on these again cuz im gonna be working on my brakes, something going on with them and I dont wanna mess up the 5zignes. Here's how the car usually sits:

C/C welcome about the rear.

The valances don't flow too well...the side shot doesn't look TOO bad, but the rear shot looks like you cut up an eBay lip that didn't fit.

Clean car though

I don't really like them. Not trying to be a dick, but I don't think the fitment's good enough to warrant that visible space between the pieces of the ex-lip and the bumper. Looks shoddy to me. I say just get rid of the thing all together, and get one worth putting on when you have the money.

It's not your fault, it was a good idea, but just can't be made into something that looks really good. A for effort

LOL

Should've just kept it as a whole rear lip if you were gonna do that. Creative though.. maybe some more modifying you can make those 'valances' look good.

It looks ok, just try to do something about the gap between the valence and the actual bumper close that up and it will looks perfect.

those rear valences really look bad because of the gap of space there. I mean if it was a bad fitment front lip you can use it as a beater hha. I got a type R front lip and whenever i run that lip i dont care about speed bumps and parking ramps lol

only thing ebay are the lips. headlights are oem if ur thinking about that. and yeah i know theyre not perfect. I may modify them a bit more later but as of now theyre good enough. and haha on the not HT approved, figured they wouldnt be.

i didnt expect much but figured since its a rear lip, it cant be that bad and even if it was then it was in the back and i wouldnt see it much. i realize now how wrong i was, haha. damn that ebay.

Well, since they look like garbage as they are (my opinion, sorry), maybe you can take a chance at heating them several times and pressing them against the bumper until they mold a little bit better. I feel like there can be hope if that horrendous gap is tucked as much as it can be.
