I am listing this pristine Prelude for my buddy since he doesn't use Honda-Tech.I work at a Honda dealer and recently had a brand new short block put into this car at 88,355 miles. When I put in the motor I also replaced...the clutch, resurfaced the flywheel, had the head ported and polished at a machine shop, the timing belt was done again along with all other belts. I also had a full brake job done front and back with new pads and the rotors were resurfaced. I also had the tie rod ends replaced along with the CV boots. Oil seals were replaced, oxygen sensor was also done along with a wheel bearing..I forget which one. The drivetrain is brand new along with the motor. When doing the brake job a caliper was also locked up so the R/R caliper was replaced also.
<U>THINGS TO NOTE</U>: This car has been maintained very meticulously. The oil has been changed every 3000 miles with bottled genuine Honda 5w30. Nearly everything was replaced under warranty when the new motor was put in. There is not a flaw with the transmission - zero grind. I am very meticulous and **** about my car and I can assure you it is in top shape for a 97 and still has 50k miles left on the OBD2 emissions warranty and another 4 years. I wash and wax it weekly if not more and it is always cleaned and vacuumed when I do so. The car currently rides on Kumho Ecsta ASX ultra high performance tires which are 205/50R16 87W. The tires are 7 in the front and 6 in the back and were just rotated a few weeks ago with my last oil change.
The interior is mint as well. I just put in a new set of OEM floormats and I have an extra set that are OEM as well I use during the winter I will include also. The shift boot is torn at the top by the **** and it held on with a black zip tie...It never bothered me so I didnt get a new one.
