Okay, so from how my car is acting up and what people have told me(here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2108778) I'm on my way to a new tranny, so I was wondering what would be the best replacement for an H23? something that won't run me past $1,000 please, I don't know what a replacement H23 tranny would run me for, do the H22 transmissions fit?

Search dude, come on, you've been around here for a while.

All H/F transmissions are interchangeable except for atts issues in 5th gens and the s2000's f20c trans.

If you need something cheap you can usually pick up an accord trans for a good deal.
