After sitting over night, when I attempt to start my 93 sr4ws the motor cranks over right away, but after a couple seconds will have what appears to be a fuel cutout. Then after I restart it, it will usually fire right up and run like it just rolled off assembly line.
I've checked the dizzy for moisture, it checked out dry.
I've replaced both fuel filter/oil filter, spark plugs, cap, rotor.
Run 91 octane high quality gas from Shell.
Changed oil, it does burn a touch, but not to a point where rings are shot.
Compression is fine across the cylinders
Fuel pump turns on and after the restart seems to run perfect.
Fuel relay clicks when ignition key is turned, I can't seem to hear if it clicks off b4 the car stalls.
I've run fuel system cleaner, without any change in stalling
Would a leak in intake cause it to stall out? not likely I figured but what do you guys think? Any other thoughts at all would be greatly appreciated. I just need to know all possible causes of stalling, I would say fuel related, and has something to do with sitting over night being either moisture, or cold weather perhaps.
thanks in advance for any thoughts
