Default putting ac back in the rex, only on a d16z6 instead.

i have a 88 dx crx. had ac until i ripped out all of the lines and crap. i was wondering now that i have the 95 civic ex engine in there. does it matter what year and model car i use as far as the ac compressor, ac lines, the ac fan( took mine off and threw it out long ago) and even the lil mini radiator looking thing for the ac infront of the rad. i don't have the compressor for the d16z6, but i do have the 88 dx compressor. or i could get all the lines, fan, compressor, whatever from a different car, like a 89 dx or hf. let me know.too damn hott in the summer to be uncomfortable. thanks

all the CRX stuff SHOULD fit.... the only part I see being a problem is the mounting bracket for the compressor...

u should use all the stock CRX ****
i think u might have to use a CRX bracket to use a CRX compressor
but all the lines should be same **** as the old engine...

ok, well as long as i can use the crx compressor with the bracket and lines, everything works and mounts up right. what about the ac belt, are the crx and the d16z6 belt ribs the same? thanks guys..

they are not the same, but the AC compressor adjusts, to make it tight. like an alternator..... if i were u ill go get the stock CRX belt.... see if it works.. if its too short, get a 1 inch larger one and say that the one doesnt work....
peace
