Default Need NHRA roll cage help

Ok, a buddy of mine is planning on running low 11's high 10's in his Dodge Ram 2500 four door truck. He has already made 1175whp and ran a 11.5. Does anyone know what type of cage is required? I know they call for 134 wall, I have 188 D O M. But how many points does it call for? Thanks for your time.

i believe 11.49 requires at least a 5 point cage, and it can be 1.75" mild steel at .118" thickness, except for the harness bar, it can be 1.25"@.118" mild steel or if you want chromoly it can be 0.83", and the harness bar can be .065".

Check the book before you do it. I also believe that if you use chromoly it can't be mig'd only TIG. Might be other little things they want to see. Don't take a chance, the rules for that are on-line.
