Default FS: 1997 Honda Prelude Type-SH... CHEAP! Wilmington North Carolina...

Ok guys, I've finally made up my mind of what to do with this car, and it's time to move on, I'm getting rather tired of paying for 3 cars. I've put so much time and money into this car, but I've run out of time lately to fix the small things.

VIN: JHMBB6156VC009287

Make: Honda

Model: Prelude

Trim: Type-SH

Color: Eucalyptus Green Pearl

Interior Color: Hybrid Black/Tan

Transmission: 5-Speed

Engine: H22A4 (2.2 liter DOHC VTEC 200bhp)

Mileage: 116,000

Price: $4,750 FIRM, PRICED FOR A QUICK SALE (This price is WAAAAY below the lowest possible KBB price, keep that in mind. I have a LOT more invested in this car than the asking price)

The car is in good shape, no major body damage, there are only a few dings/dents on the entire body. It has a mark on the trunk where the previous owner was keyed. It has some minor corrosion on two trim pieces (On each door), they're not expensive to replace.

THE GOOD:

-Just inspected and passed, new decal
-Engine runs great, nice and quiet
-Transmission shifts great, no grinds (Fifth gear has a "ZIP" to it, hardly noticable)
-Clutch is stiff, grabs great
-New lower portion interior, black in color (Center console, carpet, floor mats. Stock, EGP Preludes only came with tan interior, it only has upper portion tan interior now)
-The FULL interior was pulled, and thoroughly cleaned (Pictures will verify)
-AUTHENTIC Integra Type-R shift ****
-Neuspeed "Race" springs
-Enkei 15" "JDM ITR" wheels +38 offset
-Yokohama ES100 195/55/15 with some life left (About 40% tread)
-Gorilla Lug Nuts (Necessary for the smaller lug passages on these particular Enkeis. Comes with lug key)
-Maintence just performed by Stevenson Honda/Acura (Distributor cap/rotor/plugs/wires/fuel filter/oil change/etc)
-New battery
-New Silverstar headlight bulbs
-New paint on the hood/passenger side mirror housing
-Seats have been steamed cleaned
-OEM optional fog lights
-OEM optional splash guards
-OEM optional rear spoiler
-New '99 Prelude CD player (Needs adapter harness to work with '97 plug)
-BRAND NEW OEM front/rear subframe cradle (Was bent in accident)
-BRAND NEW OEM LCA (Was bent in accident)
-BRAND NEW OEM A-ARM (Was bent in accident)
-BRAND NEW OEM Sway Bar Endlink (Was broken in accident)

(The last four items costed me out the ***, the parts were quite expensive)

THE BAD:

-The car was in a minor front end collision (Carfax verifies it was VERY MINOR), the only body damage, was to the radiator support hood, and headlights. The hood has been replaced, and repainted, the radiator support has been pulled out well (It needs to come out a little bit more to be PERFECTLY straight), the passenger side headlight has been repaired fully (Gets some fog in it when it rains for 3 days straight), the driver side headlight is rigged in (It works just fine, no leaks, body line is good, but the new owner may want to replace it for aesthetic purposes under the hood). The body line on the car is fine, no gaps.
-Passenger side axles has a tear in the boot, no clicking or anything, just messy
-The passenger radius arm needs to be replaced, it is included in sale (The car pulls a bit to the right, it doesn't fight you, but it pulls, replacing the radius arm will fix this), this however, causes the ATTS light to come on from time to time (It goes right off when car is shut off), the unit functions fine though. NOTE: The knuckle may also be bent, it's impossible to tell until the radius arm is installed. It's no big deal, they're on eBay often for $70 with knucle AND hub/lugs/etc.
-Cracked windshield (Does not leak, does not obstruct driver's view, passed inspection)
-Driver side mirror's control arms came off the mirror, the mirror can be adjusted by hand before driving, and it stays in position. A minor inconvience really, no big deal. The controls can be reattached
-Squeeky rear suspension (I've been told it's the shocks), not loud, but annoying at low speeds
-Very small cancer spot on roof, at the windshield trim location (I was quoted $150 to have it fixed and resprayed)
-Needs trunk carpet/cardboard piece

I've been straight forward with "The Bad", problems described are truthful, and describes every single minor problem with the car. It's a solid car, that only needs a few small things to be perfect. It will be a great car for any potential buyer.

The car will come with a full tank of 93 octane for the new buyer.

Once again, I have WAAAAAY more invested in this car than I'm asking. I'm losing my *** on this car, but it needs to go now (i.e. I'm paying cash for another car I've had my eye on).

Please PM me if interested, or contact me by the following means:

E-Mail: nismolmr@aol.com
Cell Phone: (910) 612-0425 (Jordan)

The best means to contact me by, is just calling me, I always have my phone on me.

<FONT SIZE=""4"">CURRENT PICTURES WILL BE UP TOMORROW.</FONT>

For now:

These are pictures from the initial freshen up...

More pictures will be up tomorrow of the exterior, and everything else that's new.

Back up, I cannot believe no one is interested, this price is a steal for this car. Check the KBB on it, I'm asking WAAAAY below KBB.
