A Little How to.. Scratch Removal/Repair!
Okay, so today I get out to my car after coming out of work and I am absolutely horrified to witness someone backing into my car. More of a swipe... but whatever. Some older guy in an old yellow Corvette, not sure of the year for all you Vet fans.. sorry
. But yeah He was real apologetic and even gave me $50 to pay it off, i told him that i would take care of it no problem, he seems to be alright after he realized i wasn't going to call anyone haha.
Tools:
-Acetone! (The Miracle Liquid!) [[You could also use paint thinner but.. might be a little dangerous. I prefer the acetone its a bit weaker.]]

-A rag
-Elbow Grease!
So to get started, this is what i was looking at.

or a closer look..

Luckily.. it was mostly his paint that came onto me.. not the other way around...
Step 1:
Apply a decent amount of the acetone to a rag or towel and really just have at it. Making sure to wipe up the smears you see appear rather quickly, they tend to set in if you don't.
Step 2:
Elbow grease is needed for this part, for my personal experience here there were many little divots and pot holes filled with this stupid yellow paint. A finger nail comes in handy here..

Half way done..
Step 3:
Finish up with all the little stinking divots and well.. you're done, haha. Marvel at your handy work.

Step 4:
Head to your local Autozone, Pep Boys, or Kragen [or im my case.. wait until morning to go to the Acura dealership because your paint was discontinued in touch-up...] If anyone knows somewhere to get B97-W Voltage Blue i think... please let me know.
I will put up pics of the finished detailed project when i get around to it after school tomorrow
