Default A* Octane Riding shoes, ne experience with em

Thinking about purchasing it, looks comfortable to walk around it, deciding between these

and these

the latter looks so damn heavy, looks difficult to shift, but only $90 while the A* is $140. Thanx in advance.

Alpinestars... Teknic looks like something you would wear with black lipstick and a trench coat...

Why does the teknic shoe have that grip stuff on the toe? That side is the brake lever so what is the point?

^ So if you didn't have it on the right side, you don't get the other question "why don't you have that grip stuff on the right shoe? It looks retarded. You're so asymmetrical."

Why not disk out the extra cash and get some real riding boots !!

Those STREET boots are really hard on the eyes

It's for the squids that flip the brake lever over for "GP Brake" Duh

The A*'s look pretty good.

I had A* shoes before.. They're very narrow in width, but overall, good for the daily commute.

I use Dainese Dr Jekyll as my daily commuter boots and have absolutely no complaints about them.

The Teknic boots look just like the Icon ones, which were trash. They looked decent enough but the buckle put a lot of uneven pressure. The A*'s look nice and comfy.

I got them for free from Beverly Hills Ducati when I bought my bike. So I really have no recollection of how much they were.

I would get the AStars.

I am sort of biased though since I was just at their offices yesterday and I might start having my paychecks say their name on it.

well got the A*, just went out for a lil ride. feels kinda bulky, can't really feel the rear brake lever but i think in time i will get used to it. also feels nice that my ankles are covered , better mobility with tennis shoes hehe, but overall i am really happy with the A*, thank goodness i didnt get the teknics.
