Default strut brace problem

I searched already and found that the 88-91 civic strut tower bars are the same as the crx's. I went and bought a set of 4 used megan strut braces and went to bolt them on but ran into a problem. The front upper one went right on without a problem but the rear upper one seems to be too short. I adjusted it as far as it could go and it still wont reach. Are the rear ones different? Im confused...

classic example: " You get what you pay for" megan is not one of the most sought after companies in my book. advice sell them and get better quality parts this time and im sure the fitment will be to your satisfaction.

Yeah I was going to ask if thats a good brand or not. In your opinion what brand would be the best for the lowest price?
