Hey All,
I also posted this up in the EG forum, but havent gotten any response yet. SO..
Ive done a bunch of searching on this issue, and most of the topics that have come up are Comptech rear sway/tie bar combos clearances around the muffler. Ive got a Blox 21mm rear, and I dont know what the differences are in size/clearances/or fitting versus the Comptech.
Ive got a 93 Si hatch, and I was running a stock 95 GSR exhuast (modified to fit). I installed the Blox 21mm rear sway this weekend to go with the Spoon tie bar I already had, and I had to take the muffler section off so it would fit.
No biggie. I was planning on buying an aftermarket 60mm exhuast anyways. But I need to find out what exhaust your running if you already have this sway bar, and if you've had issues.
I plan on buying an Ex mag, so if you've got this combo, all the better. Lemme know if it fits.
If you have clearance pics, brownie points for you. Post it up.
TIA.

I have an ITR rear sway and will be combining it with an ASR brace for my 93 hatch. Good thing you're getting rid of your GSR muffler because theres no was in hell your sway bar will fit. I had an ITR muffler modified to fit my car and there's no way my sway bar would fit.
My friend just put an RSR muffler, axle back on his hatch which has an ASR and ITR rear sway and it fit perfectly. There was a lot of room left over. I have a Apex WS2 and I'm sure my sway bar will fit even with this muffler. Just make sure the muffler you get is actually made for a hatch. Some exhaust companies have different size mufflers for the hatch and coupe.
For racing, I plan on getting a magnaflow muffler. Using those small mufflers will definitely give you room as well.
