if your going to do it the right way then why not. they are good motors if you build em.

It's going to be pretty difficult to get a 3000 pound car down to 10 seconds.
Personally, I'd rather look good and be comfortable at 15 seconds than have a 10 second hatchback with no interior.

but your right about that one!

Yeah that is true. All I here from other people is "have fun in the lead race" They are great looking cars though. I guess I can just stick with an Integra for te 10 seconds. Thanks

Yeah I heard that everyone recomends a H22 for all preludes and accords. They are pretty fast stock to don't get me wrong. I've alreay put over 5 grand into the car. Stage 4 Clutch kit and light weight flywheel, drag 3 turbo, a couple of fuel things, intake manifold, etc. You gotta love the sound of the v-tec motors too.

You want a 10 second street car?...

Are you talking it being your Daily Driver?

the 4th gen F series lude only weighs 2807 from the factory so u can easily get it down to like 26 or 25 hundred pounds...but trust me it sounds like it wouldnt be that bad but a 10 second DD is not enjoyable... with the way gas is and having something that fast on the highway where u can usually run an average of 60...pointless!

Yeah I have a 4th gen. it's a 94' but yeah I'm thinking to just keep it as a 12-13 sec. street car as it is now with what I've done with it. I'l turn my Integra Ls into the 10 sec. car I wanted. I think now that would be more reasonable. And yeah gas is rediculous now!!!!

You have a lot of reading to do man. Your prelude isn't a 12sec car with that bs stuff you mentioned, an intake manifold and a good flywheel/clutch setup will get you high 14s in a 4g prelude in street trim. You have a ways to go.

OK??? A turbo set-up won't help to run 12's. My buddies stock H22A1 is running high 13's. Maybe you should do a little reading.

Here's what you need to do to run 10's minus having a different head.

What head should I run? I know a couple of people run the H22 block and the H23 head.

By the way!!! Nice Lude set-up. I followed your link. VERY CLEAN!!!! How much did all that cost around 10-15 grand?

That set-up was about 2x as much as you are guessing.
