Detail, Black car question!
I am just wondering if there are little tricks of the trade or anything out there for keeping black cars looking clean longer? I find I am washing my black DC2 almost every 3 or 4 days and lite dust is back one within 10 min of washing it.
Also a local detailer that I have my car booked into in the spring (when it comes out of storage) told me it will be an extra $50 because my car is black, is this common or he is ripping me off?

did you just reply to yourself?
I usually dont charge more for black cars, I charge based on the condition of the paint, not the color.
$50 more seems excessive as that is an entire hour of extra work.

I have seen some higher end detail shops charge a few dollars more for black cars because of the different products they use on it compared to a car that is not black.
The shop that I used to work for never charged extra for black cars tho; personally I would look into other detailers.
