Default 4th gen JDM headlight owners....little help. =P

I feel like an idiot even posting this, but what else to do. Do any of you have any tricks ro replace the bulbs. They have those stupid little clips on them and the drivers side headlight bulb port is pretty blocked by the cr control and p/s lines.
Also, an idea on where I can get a new bulb socket?
Is this just another entry into the "my hands are way too big to work on a Honda" book?

NO problem man, dont feel an idiot, we are all here together...

If you cant fit your fingers to take out the clip, I suggest you to take out the headlights, because you need to unscrew one side of the clip in order to take out the bulb. Yea I know its a hassle. Just give it a try. As for the bulb availability, i think you can get a pair in any auto store or performance shop store.

I understand the big hand thing, my gf has big hands, and fat fingers, LOL. JDM and need to remove a screw, I know that a screw holds in the clip but if its true JDM the opposite end of the clip just needs to pop out of a retainer and pivot on its hinge, the bracket that the screw holds in place.

Is it not possible to remove the cr unit and have a friend try to get the bulb out for you, lots of vehicles require a little disassembly in one form or another sometimes.

Yes I do and I like it, but without the guilt, no what I mean, yes you do.

Forgot to mention, the plug and some wireing hanging off of it should be available for sale at the dealer, if not I have bought the plug, wire with the proper metal connector already installed and then just slipped the wire into the plug and spliced to the cars harness.

My clips weren't screwed on, and holds down the bulb fine with just the pressure from the clips. I'd suggest getting a short screwdriver and taking those screws out for good; it makes releasing the clip a very easy task.

Thanks for the suggestions guys....

I was actually looking for a new H4 socket not bulb. The socket is a little crusty.

Just move the cruise control out of the way, it's held by two screws. It will be quick.

They have plastic repair kits, its a powder you sprinkle on the crack and drop a liquid on the powder, it forms a plastic weld.

For the others, Japan rips their people off big time over here, the cost of living is rediculous. BUT they have universal heath care, paid for by me.

I also heard that JAPAN does 100 year mortgages on the shacks they call homes!

I think we may be talking about the really big shacks with no insulation, most regular shacks run about $350,000 and those go for about 35 years. Interest is somewhere like 2%. Its about $10,000 for closing costs and all paperwork IF you are Japanese.

That is true, the cost of living here is so high, and they have so many taxes that just dont make sense, but when I pay them, I can pretty much bet on where that money is going.

Remember when Japan gave $500,000,000 to the Tsunami relief in Malay down there somewhere (sorry), they created a recycle fee for every vehicle on the road (about $100) and every vehicle that had not yet been turned into the junk yards still sitting behind the house or in a field to make their money back (one time fee). Thats emergency planning. What did the US do for the New Orleans folks, almost nothing in my book.
