BEWARE: Westfield Mall, North County- 95 ej2 *STOLEN*
Date of theft: 09/15/07 @ apprx. 1:15pm ESPD estimates that this location (mall) has the highest percentage of automobile theft in San Diego county.
Upon further investigation it turns out that this mall in Escondido has surveillance cameras in place, however according to the Security authorities, my vehicle was parked in a non-surveillanced area at the time of theft, a Blind Spot!
My private investigator was able to communicate with the securities top supervisor. He gathered that the cameras are placed in different areas often and that the security guards (employees) are not informed of these area changes. Imagine this, an employee with knowledge as to the exact "Blind spots" of the cameras? Inside job, perhaps? I have that feeling. I know most would never even consider to drive their high profile cars to the mall and run the risk of being stolen. Accompanied by my two daughters, I thought I could get away with a quick basket of fries at Red Robin. Apparently not!
The License plate was read at the border. That just tells me it was put onto another car as a decoy.
Please! Be on the look out for the following and notify me if you know anything:
1995 Honda Civic DX
- BLK w/tint
- de-badged / only H emblem on the hood.
B18b1 motor w/ GSR transmission
Nuespeed frt/rear strut bars
Skunk2 rear lower brace
Tokico shocks w Nuespeed lowering springs
Si rear disc
15x7 RAYS TIMEATTACKS
Tanabe exhaust
Alpine CD w ipod
Del Sol seats / Red
Center Console, w/ e-brake arm rest compartment.

True story man--this sh*t is getting ridiculous.
I'm so sorry about the car man--looked great. My EM1 was flawless until some punk a** teenagers keyed the sh*t out of my drivers door to bare metal at the mall, and same story--"in a ***** f*cking blind spot."
Luckily my alarm went off preventing them from doing worse.

That's fine! It'd be helpful though if they can actually prove it was my car that crossed into Mexico, not just the plate verification. That would help.
