Default Assess H22 Damage? Loose T-Belt

I have a motor laying around which i got from a friend, his tensioner went on it, Im just wondering if its still good, I dont really have any experience with this so i dont know what to look for, the only thing i know the motor burnt oil..my plan is to change the piston rings main bearings, and headgasket and reuse the rest of the parts from my old motor.....

heres some pics

if his timing belt went.. chances r ur gonna need some new valves... other than that the motor should be alright.. get rid of those auto tensiones they suck... went out on my car 3 times b4 i decided to change the damn thing to manual.. in my experience wit tensione failure the bottom end was still good

The H22 will have no damage to the valves, as long as your are not in Vtec.
