I need tips.
i have a 97 del sol. nothing fancy, but i am considering lowering it. i not looking at goin crazy and dropping it 5 inches but a moderate drop would be fine. i was thinkin between inch and a half to maybe three inches as most.
i have been looking at the kits but i havent noticed any that have any steering linkage accomidations. i want it to sit lower but keep alignment angles within stock settings. what kits are available and what problems might i have?
as always anything helps...thanks

Are you referring to a lowered car having more of a tendency to bump steer because the outer tie rods angle upwards when the car is lowered? If you're only moderately lowering your car, you'll be fine. Civic and Integra chassis don't have too much of a problem with bump steer. It's the newer Civic Si and RSX's w/ Mac struts up front that have a tendency for nasty bump steer when they're lowered a considerable amount.
i must admit, i only have a general idea of what i am doing. i know a lot except what i am doing, when it comes to transmissions and suspension.
but, yeah i am concerned about bump steer and the ball joints, as i just replaced them and i dont want to do it again. one pain in the *** and two its expensive. i was also wondering about camber kits. would it be a good idea to get them, considering i am thinking of lowering it, which would give negative camber.

Some negative camber will help improve handling, and if the car is aligned correctly then a camber kit is not needed. Toe is what wears tires most of the time, not negative camber.
But yeah I've been lowered 6 years and haven't had any problems with steering tie rods. I replaced my original ones less than 2 years ago when the car have over 200K miles on it. I have almost 260K miles now and my current tie rods are just fine.
