Stripped thread on top bolt of half shaft...
Trying to put back my tranny after clutch and flywheel change and the appears that the the top bolt for the half shaft goes in about halfway then keeps spinning.. When I tried to take it out it seems like some of the thread went with it.. Anyone have any suggestions?

believe me, I know what you mean.
I did a timing belt on my Civic and a bolt holding the water pump broke. I only had 4.5" between the side of the block and side of the engine bay. I was able to drill it out and tap it though, ended up using a Craftsman flex shaft and cut down drills.
I dont remember how much room is down there but measure it and see if you can maybe fit a right angle drill in there. I believe the drill I measured at Sears was about 4" from the back of the drill to the chuck.
Or see if you unbolt a mount or two while supporting the engine with a jack, lower the engine enough to give you the room needed to drill and tap.
