bc4 vs. skunk2 pro1

you have to take into consideration the rest of the engine build thats tbones old 2.0 build with a ported head high compression and really good header and intake manifold combo.
so these cams are going to react differently to a smaller displacement engine without a ported head and so on and so forth. it also depends if the cams are degreed in properly.

Especially after seeing a dyno graph of both layed on top of each other. If these are wrong, please let me know. It looks to me like the skunk2 has a little more lift and a little less duration than the BC. Guess they are close enough to put down about the same numbers for EITCP's setup
skunk2 pro1:
intake
lift: .496 duration:264
exhaust
lift: .469 duration:264
BC4:

lift: .484 duration: 306
exhaust:
lift: .465 duration: 302</TD></TR></TABLE> Are those duration numbers both @ .040 or advertised duration's ? Inquireing mind's want to know.

Your pro 1's should come with a cam card giving you all your specs, lobe center line, duration, valve events, etc...
There are some good threads on here about degreeing cams if you have questions, or just call Skunk2.

You know the answer to that, probably not. Thats why you really can't compare the "Advertised Specs" of 2 cams.
