99 civic dx b16a2 lht supercharged
Love this car, but I've been wanting something different. I've got a 99 civic dx coupe with a b16a2 swap out of a 99 si with arount 48k miles and an lht modified jrsc pushing 8psi. All work was done with the help from Luke and Peter, so you know its mint. I did not cut any corners with the build of this car. Here is the mod list
b16a2 swap (pretty darn mint) with 48k miles on the motor and trans.
b16a2 trans out of the same car
exedy stage 1 organic clutch with pressure plate
dsm 450 injectors that have been ultrasonic cleaned and new o rings with resistor box (there is no reason why these are not has good as rc or other competitor injectors)
new oe fuel filter, fpr, and oil pressure meter.
hondata intake gasket to lower those temps
remanufactured jrsc supercharger with new gaskets, rotors, and coating.
sent to lht performance in florida for a custom intercooler setup, plus their street water pump kit.
JRSC stage one upgraded crank for 8 psi (also have a mvm stepper pulley that will put this setup to 10-11 psi, with the correct belt). i've been wanting to put it on, but haven't gotten around to doing it because. . . well ERIC PLEASE TUNE AGAIN, PLEASE
mishimoto radiator with new napa radiator hoses
kamikaze header with 2.5
boost gauge
catco 2.5 cat
apexi ws2 exhaust (sounds almost as quiet as stock untill you step on it)
ebay intake with k&n filter.
I might be forgetting some things
its sitting on ep3 rims with khumo all season tires that was changed last summer.
There is not a single drop or a leak anywhere in this car. And did i mention that it still has AC and PS?
Very reliable and healthy dd car. Has had no problems since put together. This setup has been on for less than 10,000 miles. It has been street tuned by eric, and with estimated 195 hp, and 148 tq. The lht really shines with higher boost levels, and i have no doubts that with the mvm stepper pulley and a dyno tune that this car can achieve 230-240 hp levels.
Car is located in GR, pm with any questions.
To business. I want 8500 pretty firm on this price. Thats with the mvm stepper pulley and belt (200 shipped from Jim at motorvations, mvm is the go to stepper pulley for the supercharger guys, search on honda-tech.)
The bad
The car can use a retune. Not every time, but once in awhile the car will idle funny from 800-1200. I'm pretty sure, as i've been asking, that this can be cured with some more tuning. The bottom of the bumper was cracked (cannot see unless you come really close and get on your back to look at under the car). Also, i am in need of some new splash guards.
There are two rust starting to bubble on the right rear pannel. i might be able to get my hands on some of the splash guard for the buyer
Other than that the car is a very solid dd. It could use a repaint, but i spent zero dollars on looks of this car, and everything into performace. here is the link to the build thread http://www.ef-honda.com/main/v...light=
the crack on the bumper from the build thread was replaced

this is more of how the cars looks now, this is still before the crack that is under the bumper currently
