ok sometimes well lets say like once a week after put my car in first gear after a red light or something the car goes really slow then i completely let go of the clutch and hit the gas and the car doesnt go anywhere doesnt even accelerate and then all of a sudden i get a burst of power that jerks me back then everything is fine im a totally stumped on this problem i am going to check my fuel filter tomorrow... by the way no cel's

When is the last time you changed your clutch? What kind of car are you driving? More information would be helpful.

I NEVER CHANGED MY CLUTCH AND THE CAR IS A 00 LX MOTOR IS A D16Y7 THAT WAS SWAPPED IN BEFORE I BOUGHT IT

 

does this happen when you have a full tank of gas or is it empty? if you usually drive around a lot on E you will be more likely to kill the fuel pump.

NO IT HAPPENED YESTERDAY AND THE TANK WAS LIKE AROUND HALF WAY SO I DONT THINK SO BUT YES IT DOES FEEL LIKE THE CAR GETS NO GAS LIKE THE FUEL PUMP JUST SHUTS OFF OR SOMETHING

 

If your car wasn't getting gas it would shut off and you would need to restart it. My guess would be badly slipping clutch based on what you said. Be it in caps lock or not

sorry i can read these tiny letters time for some glasses lol but anyways im gonna get a new clutch next month could be that put w/e thanks anyways guys

 

anybody else have any ideas?

 

i might need a clutch after i put the car into a gear it like shakes
