I have been looking around and been going through the picture in this forum and there doesn't seem to be a white RSX with a black interior, they're all tan. What's the deal??? Did they ever make such a thing? Thanks.

 

I've done that search before too and all the white RSX have tan interior. My best guess is that the white RSX never came with black interior.

the rsx in american never came in white/black
also red/black

it is available in canada though

 

White RSX + black interior is only available in Canada

Ya only canada got this one. The swap is actually quite easy once you get the dash off. Finding all the interior parts can be tricky though. 2 buddies of mine has white rsx's with black interior. Must say it looks pretty sharp.

 

I've got the complete black interior (minus dash, door panels and center console) for sale for anyone interested :D

in canada i believe it only came in 2003 ... thats all i know of ... its all i care about anyways beacause 05 06 does not appeal to me at all

i got black interior in PWP dc5. i traded a jdm ys1 trans for the interior. swapping out the dash was the biggest headache. will try to post pics

Please do. The biggest disappointment for me was that the PWP in the US didnt come with Black interior

 

i still gota do my a pillar black. rudy did it and it looks good.

 

Buying and installing a whole black interior or just buying a DC5 with black interior and paiting the body PWP?

 

It would look sick if they had it tho....

 

Which is cheaper? Full black interior conversion or painting the car white?

I was just about to say this exact same question if not similar. Why spend all this money just to change the interior to black leather when all you have to do is buy a black leather interior car and get it painted at an autobody shop the exact color you want it. You know the paint code, they'll paint it that color. Think smarter not harder

 

i would rather change the interior than the exterior

i wouldn't think it would be that hard to change out the dash, seats, door panels, carpet, center console, steering wheel, etc.... with some friends
maybe just time consuming gathering the parts

but price wise, i would go with the interior swap
plus you can part out your old parts

 

add up the price for getting all the black leather interior parts, putting it in or labor and then add how much it would cost to get the car repainted to pwp. I gurantee the price will be dramaticly different. It would be cheaper to paint the car then it would be to replace the interior.

 

i guess i would rather keep the paint from the factory :/

 

but it'd be no different if you was to get into a car accident and had to get it painted by an autobody shop after they fix the damages. Same factory paint color... really no difference.
