M2B4 Tranny larger than others, Which axles?
OK I searched and heard all sort of different things. I have a jdm h22 with m2b4 tranny in a 93 accord and I destroy driveshaft shop cv joints (2 sets). I asked DSS why and they told me "they just found out the m2b4 was wider than the others". I think they mean the casing for the LSD witch is why you cant put the LSD in other trannys. Any way, they wont send me new axles even though they sent me ones that were apparently the wrong size. So now I am getting new axles and will probably get aftermarket. So do I get Accords, the hybrids-prelude inner, accord outer (driverside), or what? I auto x a lot so I dont think autozones will last. Suggestions, thanks.
you can get DSS to make you custom axles for it, and you will definitely need them. edit: just actually read your post. Yell at those ********, my brother had the same problem, and at $75 or whatever apiece, those cv joints aren't exactly a cheap replacement.
I don't know how they can hope to not do a "recall" of sorts for people that have problems with their axles. They didn't do enough research, and as a result, their product is failing. That is 100% their fault, and they should cover it. **** DSS!
It never made a difference in my non-slammed prelude, but my brother's civic/h22 hybrid has binding problems with regular length axles. It is pretty low though...

Yeah they dont make the "stage 2" axles that I had so they wont do ****. I really dont want to get DSS again anyway. There is no point toreplace the cv joints again if the axle is the wrong size anyway. But your right they should do a recal or something.
