H23 clutch and shift cable ?s
OK first I have the forbidden short shifter in my car and I was at the track yesterday... I pulled it into 2nd a little 2 hard and now 2nd,4th, and reverse feels really "squishy" .... like i used to tell it was in gear but now its so fluid like i cant tell its in gear and its a bitch getting it into reverse sometimes... Could I have stretched the cables?
2nd... Where would you guys recommend I buy a h23 clutch kit at... i was looking at something along the lines of this

I have some kind of Fidanza clutch in my car right now. I also have an H23A1. I think it was something like a 2.1 or something. I was a "performance" clutch kit that looked like oem. I think it sucks now and wish I would have gotten a "higher" clutch kit. At the track, after about 3 or 4 passes, it started slipping bad from 1st to 2nd. The 4.3 does look like something I wish I would have bought though. I say go for it. Can't really do any harm can it? Except it might not be as fun to drive on the street. And give you a larger left leg...
yea i dont care if its harder to drive on the street... i want it to grip when i want it to on the track... the OEM replacement clutch i have now slipped way to much for my liking after i broke it in and now its shot...
You either busted one of your shift cable's plastic outer shell or popped off one of the large metal clips that secures the shift cables up by the transmission.
