ok i put a h22a (jdm) in the 93 lude that had a sohc in it
the dizzy came with a internal coil

so i took it all apart and put the sohc guts in the h22 housing

now the car back fires and shoots flames out the header and makes a empty doom doom doom noise when i turn it on what all is needed to be changed when doing this swap

it has fuel and it has spark just wont start please help im also using the sohc ecu and harness

 

Double check your cam and ignition timing and your plug wires first...

That ECU won't work too well either

 

well i also tryed a p28 what all is need to make this hoe run i keep reading the dizzy problem what should i do

try gettin your timing right as he said and use some more h22 parts

 

WHAT H22 PARTS DO I NEED timing is RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

ill worrie about vtec later i just need it to start

ho i have to use a h23 dizzy

 

use the h23 dizzy and EXTERNAL coil.. you need a p13 to have vtec. that p28 will not run the car safe unless its chipped and tuned for the h22. id say your problem lies in the wrong dizzy and the wrong ecu.. if you had a p14 non vtec h23 ecu it would start and run fine, just no vtec..

 

ok now im useing a brand new h23 dizzy

in the last day this is my quest
2 ecus
3 sets of injectors 1 set was brand new
3 resestor boxs
and a brand new efi


the injectors arnt spraying but i have plenty of
fuel pressure in the rail wtf
