need help.. car won't start
i don't know if i missed something, but i've check for fire, spark, fuel, compression, timing, and my negatives idk what i'm missing.. can anyone help please!
question is very vague. did the car die while driving? did it act weird before this? did you change something on the car then it wouldnt start? you need to give a little more info. if you have properly checked all this, check it again.
k i drive it over a manhole that was like 3ft high. smashed the oil pan. replaced the oil pan and the pick up funnel. everything was good before i put the oil pan in. went to try and start it didn't start. but when i smashed the oil pan i shut it off right away. then i looked under the car and say oil everywhere . started the car up then drove it to the side of the street. and that's what happened since.
when i turn the key it cranks over and there is fuel and there's spark. but it won't like run. you know what i mean. like you just keep cranking and the car just won't start. all the elements that's needed to start is there like gas, air, fuel, spark, compression. but it won't start
if it's cranking and getting a spark like you say then it should start
try checking the distributor cap and rotor
as well as all of your connections to and from the cap

good point
make sure everything is bolted in right to lessen the chance of a ground being lost

did you even read the OP. he ran over a pothole and and to replace the oil pan. why would the starter have been off. and hitting a pothole isnt going to knock it loose.

a clutch slipping wont affect engine starting. you can run the engine without the trans even on the engine. provided your main seal doesnt leak..
