Well I just put in a CRX Si cable trans and a new stock clutch kit and lightened flywheel.
well the clutch is engaging way up from the floor, I want it to start engaging near the floor... How do I adjust it to engage near the floor???? Plz Help.

P.S. I adjusted the nut on the cable, would I have to keep goin down with the nut?

 

loosen the cable to lower the engagement point on the pedal.

Pedal freeplay should be 19/32 to 25/32 inch and the release arm on the transmission should be 5/32 to 13/64 inch. It should not be too spongy nor stiff.

 

Im not havin problems with spongy or stiff pedal. I just want to adjust the engagement point so the clutch engages sooner than it should.

 

Is there a thread for this cuz I cant find it

when I searched the EF forum there were 17 "adjust clutch" threads in the archive
