So i just bought a b16 block yesterday and the pistons look pretty dirty. whats a way to clean them with out taking the block apart. they just have some dirt and stuff on top from sitting in a garage it looks like. carb cleaner, simple green? will that get into the cylinders and cause problems? any help would be nice thankx

some break cleaner on a rag should be able to take out the carbon buildup on top of the piston
