Speaker Size for integra 98
i dont want to pull off the door panels or the rear panels till i get the speakers but the cut out looks like they are 6x9's so i am just curious if that is the size so i can buy some speakers and put them in (my 00 si was so much easyer damn integras) thanks
Sorry, my fit guide does not have a coupe listed, it does list a 98-99 2door as having 5-1/4" in the front and 6x9s in the rear.
When you say, "but the cut out looks like they are 6x9's are you looking up at the rear deck from the trunk?
If so^^^, and the "cut outs" are oval, then yes they are 6x9s, and all Tegs to 99 that had 6x9s in the rear have 5-1/4" in the doors, not to say a standard 6-1/2" will not fit, only way to know for sure is to pull the door panel, not a big deal, at some point your going to have to anyway.

i fuc*ed up agian... once agian i am use to my civic lol
it is a hatchback my instinct tells me that it is a coupe as asapose to a sedan so it is a hatchback lol but yes the ones in the back do look oval but so do the ones in the front in my 00 si the front speaker covers just popped right off and they were 51/4 and i put 6" in there fit just fine so i am just thinking that it has to be the same setup as my old 00 si 51/4 in the front and 6x9 in the back

Then 94_DC4 is correct, they are standard 6.5" [not to be confused with over-sized 6.5"] front and rear, the grills may look oval but the speakers are round.
BTW, the grills are removable.
