Default SMX full suit/jacket...

there was another forume talking about the SMX suit as being one of the best suits ever made, but they discontinued it. i decided to look around on ebay in hopes of finding one which i didn't... Instead, i found a 2007 SMX jacket. along with that, i was looking at the sellers other items and and see some AMAZING PRICES!

http://stores.ebay.com/tuttoracing

supertech boots are going for $240
GP-Tech gloves are $168

i could just be out of the loop but aren't those pretty damn good prices? someone know of a cheeper place, please post it. im buying new gear soon.

gp tech gloves are overkill, i've heard of it causing more problems because of the hard long gauntlet sleeves breaking wrists when going down. look for the gp pro's or gp plus instead IMO.

the price is good though.

and the SMX jacket is nothing like the smx suit. in fact i've seen some bad pictures of the smx airflo jacket ripping apart.

there was one SMX suit on ebay its a size 56 euro though and it's blue. its not showing up anymore now. it's highly unlikely you'll find one for sale they are rare

you can try there i dunno.

Those are great prices but be careful with the sizing on the boots and gloves at least. The Supertech boots run a bit bigger than others it seems, so I would order 1 size down...they also run a bit wide which worked well for me. The GP-Tech gloves have long fingers and so I had to get a Small even though my hands are supposed to be Medium (or even Large) according to the website. Pinky and thumb are super long. The main palm and wrist actually stretched very quickly (1 week?) and fit very well now. I'm not sure about how the gauntlet could break your wrist since the plastic portion should be just below the joint.

I don't have anything else to compare them to, though.
