Not trying to jack someone's thread but does anyone have an idea on what numbers could be achieved with this suggested setup + valvetrain mods... (i.e. type r cams, valves, springs...)? This is the setup I am interested in doing and the only info I could find on valvetrain was for EP3...

Are you talking on a dragstrip? Velocity isn't measurable without time or distance.

i was wondring if i were just to add a DC header on my dc5 if it would increase hp and will it work good with the stock exhaust or is it a most to get an aftermarket exhaust as well?

lol smartass

Maybe not a dragstrip though as a bit more distance might be needed.

yes, you'll get some gains
you'll feel more if you have a 05-06 than a 02-04 because of the larger exhaust piping

yeah i would do the exhaust but i hate when your driving like at 5mph and the exhaust makes loud noise. i know theirs exhaust that are not loud but once the header goes on it will. any suggestions on a super quite exhaust that will not frustrate me.

do a search! for instance, the quiet exhaust question was just being talked about last week.

If you have any specific questions, then come back and ask them.
