Read the rules of the forum. No bumping. Your thread HADN'T MOVED from the top...
I had a response typed out, but after that post, you get this... There are two diagrams on page 17 of your install manual, which explain in great detail what you need to do...

Is it armed or disarmed? Do you have the right IGN wire? If its armed and you can start it then check to make sure that you have the right wire. Disconnect the green black and the green white and if you can still start when armed then you have the wrong wire, if not then use the green wire for the motor side and then reprogram the alarm. fcm? Got any quick ideas?

yeah i can still start the car when the alarm is armed. i have the right wire. i took apart everything around the steering coloum, and i found the black/white wire that "goes" to the ignition.

The black/white "does" the ignition? No, that's the starter wire. The ignition wire is black/yellow. Both are in the ignition harness.
I answered this question in the other forum. If you are having problems, tell us exactly what connections you have.

[B fcm? Got any quick ideas?][/B]Yea, maybe, I agree with you, IGN. wire, however I see confusion, a lack of communication between us who know and the OP.
You are referring to the alarms ign. input, [must be "true ign", hot in run and start], the OP thinks you mean the starter lead, which he has correct.
IOSUA what we mean is, have you got the alarms ign. input, [H1/4 yellow] connected to a proper "true ign." black/yellow in ign. harness?

However, B18C_EJ8 has it right, it's probably programing, although if I remember, default programing is NC, I would try the programing though, or connect the green lead instead.
