Default MY 1989 CiviC Hatchback si B16!!! toRqueless wonDer!

OK so i got this car back in march. Barely working.. all of this and more was wrong with it. some of you might remember it, just from the blue valve cover.

-tranny was blown
(had no 4th gear, eventually 3rd and second went out)
-throwing around 5 to 10 different codes.
-vtec didnt work..
-ecu was fried
-no radio
-Came on some hidious wheels.
-Both front wheel bearings were going out.
-was missing more than 3 wheel lug nut bolts.
-The wiring was a hack job.
-had no moldings
-axles were blown
-exhaust had holes in it
-the seat had incorrect seat rails and was never bolted down

So here she is now... All better!

Now I have
91' si wheels
Did a re-wire on the engine harness
tokico shocks
new vtec silinoid and gaskests
New pr3 stock ecu
ground controll coilovers
integra front brakes
jdm side moldings
two new front integra axles
ITR intake mani
CTR cams
Found the rear hatch cover. junkyard find wo0t!
jdm exhaust manifold
New exhaust piping
megan red racing seat out of my old sentra.
FOund correct RAILS! but still want a 89 si driver seat

jdm s1 tranny built by Jay's auto wrecking in irwindale,ca
New 1st,2nd,and 3rd gear s1 short gears
4th and 5th are ls gears fwy driving

Im working on piecing together a turbo kit for her! hopfully that will be done by the end of the year.

there is probably more I've done, I just cant think of. So lets move on to the pictures!

sorry i dont have work in progress pictures. Just got a camera!

Those wheels are 88 si wheels by the way the 91's are rounder and smoother with less holes.

Good job so far.

I've been tryin man. i cant find anyone selling another 89 si seat.
I cant throw in a 88 seat in.. seat pans and rails are different.. same thing with the 90' and 91 hatchs the seats are all different!!!

the reason i kept that tach in..that came with the car. was the tach on the dash is off. and the one on the DINNERPATE tach is correct. so untill i get that fixed. it's gunna stay...

Looks good so far. My car has a few of those problems but it's the stock d15 so I'm going to get a DOHC or SOHC ZC. My dash harness is a wreak, they guy put in an alarm system the incorrect way..

Gangsta' lean FTW. I have a ghetto *** racing seat too. I'm thinking about lighting it on fire when I get home.

Looks nice!

Just curious, do you plan to drag race the car? If so, you're going to lose a lot of gearing by putting in that LS 4th.

All you need to do is find a seat pan and swap on any seat with the pan and rails.

Otherwise you could get some custom brackets for about $70 and put in a good knockoff seat for another $100 or so. I'd say you could get it looking okay for $200 pretty easy.
